We had the irrigation system option installed, so the garden does not take too much maintenance for us. There is plenty of time to start a vegetable garden for a 2012 harvest. With the exception of a couple of weeks in July most vegetables on our extensive list can be planted through summer to result in a plentiful harvest. Vegetables remaining can be planted early August for a Fall harvest.
When we construct a raised bed in the Fall, our superior soil completely prepares you (or us) to plant Winter or Spring without additional work or $.
